Milan clubs in step for the title
The AC Milan remains on title course in Italian series A. The Rossoneri defeated the AC Florence 1-0 (0-0) on Sunday and have been without defeat for 13 league games. Rafael Leao (82nd) scored the decisive goal for the Milanese. Milan is three points before the end of the defending champion Inter Milan, who won 2-1 (2-0) in the evening at Udinese Calcio. The former Bundesliga professional Ivan Perisic (12th) and Lautaro Martinez (39th) met for Inter. Ignacio Pussetto (74th) shortened for Udinese. Juventus Turin meanwhile remains clearly on the Champions League course.
In the home game against the bottom of FC Venice, the Italian record champion won 2-1 (1-0) thanks to two goals from captain Leonardo Bonucci. Juventus has eleven points ahead of AS Rome with three outstanding games. If the Romans did not win their home game on Sunday evening against FC Bologna (8:45 p.m./DAZN), Juve would have his Champions League place.
