Might & Magic 10 Legacy is back - Ubisoft has copy protection

Fans of Might and Magic 10 Legacy were pretty struggling this year: On June 1, Ubisoft took off the gaming servers. This led to problems with copy protection, making players from one day to the next DLC no longer benefit, let alone play beyond act 1.

While reddit to reddit a risky, but functioning workaround, it did not take long until Ubisoft reported to speak. One is aware of the problem, examine the situation and take the game in the meantime from the sale. Not the stupidest idea: a broken product offered in the industry is no longer a good sound.

Now Ubisoft published on Twitter an update to the situation: you have used the last few months to examine the problem and to test different solutions. Finally, you wanted to offer the players an experience that meets your own quality requirements. As it looks, it was successful, because the title is back in the digital shops:

We are pleased to announce that all conditions are fulfilled to bring the game back to the Ubisoft Store and on Steam and that new and recurring players can now explore the mysterious world of Ashan again. In addition to the base game We have used the opportunity to give all Might & Magic 10 legacy fans the freedom to expand their adventures through the Falcon & The Unicorn DLC - completely free.

The fact that Ubisoft actually adopted a seven-year-old game that has solved the problem caused and even gave away the DLC, an action that hardly someone had expected. A good sign is it all everyone and so all players can finally hike through the expanses of Ashan.
